One thing that will quickly ruin a camping trip is being wet.  Whether it’s your clothes or things inside your tent, no one wants to deal with wet items.  Tarps are a great way to cover your tent or other items, so they stay dry and free from the elements.  Tarps should definitely be durable but also light.  They should be made of strong materials so as not to tear.  Tarps should be packed for any camping trip to assure that you stay nice and dry!!
